2011 Social Media Residency Registration Available Now!

As announced in June, we are offering our first Social Media Residency program following the October 2011 Social Media Summit.

The Social Media Residency, which has been approved for 12.25 CME credit hours, will provide hands-on social media experience and a framework for planning that will enable participants to quickly implement social media strategies in their work.

We plan to limit the program to 80 participants, who will be matched according to common interests, and will work in eight-member teams. A Chief Resident (one of our staff members or internal/external advisors) will lead each of these cohorts, facilitating discussions and answering questions.

Portions of the curriculum will be didactic, but there also will be hands-on learning opportunities and small group or individual interactions as well as a textbook/handbook for participants. For a draft outline of material to be covered, please see this post.

Tuition for the Social Media Residencyis $845, but for members of the Social Media Health Network, it is discounted to $645. Registration is now open.
