The online voting to help select recipients of the patient/caregiver scholarships to our Social Media Summit has concluded.

The Summit, which the Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media is producing with Ragan Communications, will be held Oct. 17-19 at our Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, Minn.

The scholarship recipients also will attend our Social Media Health Network member meeting that week, and will participate in a panel discussion. They also will be invited to participate in our first Social Media Residency.

Now the 15 finalists will move on to be considered by a panel of judges, mostly drawn from our Advisory Board. We expect to name the scholarship recipients later next week.
