Patti Koblewski is Pain Ambassador for Arizona Pain Specialists and Patient Advocate/Educator for Boost Medical. Her focus of teaching others how to successfully manage their pain and live their lives led to her being a scholarship attendee at this year’s Health Care Social Media Summit held at Mayo Clinic.
During the panel “Social Media Gives Patients a Voice. Are You Listening to It?” she tells of her determination to continue to be active despite her chronic back pain. She was able to complete the Hawaii Marathon as a testament to not letting chronic pain affect what she can do. After 14 years in retail operations, customer service and as an Administrative Assistant, she now spends her time being an advocate for those with chronic pain. Utilizing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, she helped established and continues to co-facilitate a Chronic Pain Support Group. She is also in the process of developing a Patient Enrichment Program including a comprehensive guide for patients - Chronic Pain GPS: Navigating Your Way Through the World of Pain.
Patti reaches other through social media and truly has shown how one person can help others on their life-long management of pain. Her attendance at the Health Care Social Media Summit has only given her more tools to help others live their lives.
